Automatic extension
Listings of private Kleinanzeigen accounts expire. Kleinanzeigen-Enhanced extends them as soon as Kleinanzeigen allows it.
Switching it on
Section titled “Switching it on”Under Settings › Platforms › Kleinanzeigen you switch Extend listings automatically (1) on or off; it is on by default. With Check now (2) you start a check immediately.
Your browser must be running, you must be signed in to Kleinanzeigen and you need an active licence (any plan).
More: When it checks and what the card shows
- Timing: Kleinanzeigen allows the extension about eight days before a listing expires. The check runs twice a day and shortly after the browser starts, each listing individually with short pauses.
- Account: only private Kleinanzeigen accounts older than 14 days. Commercial accounts do not see the card.
- Licence: included in every plan, including the plans from Version 5. Without an active licence the checkbox is locked and Not in your plan appears next to it.
- From Version 5: If you switched it off there, it stays off after the takeover.
- Last check: shows the result, for example how many listings were extended. If an extension was not confirmed, the next check tries again.
- … extended so far: counts all extensions, automatic ones and those you triggered yourself.
- Switched off: The start page shows the listings ending in the next seven days under Ending soon, and also those the last check did not extend, with the reason.
If you are signed out of Kleinanzeigen
Section titled “If you are signed out of Kleinanzeigen”Without being signed in, nothing is extended. The start page then shows it under Connection; a click opens the sign-in, and afterwards it carries on by itself.
More: How Kleinanzeigen-Enhanced reminds you
- The icon in the browser toolbar shows an exclamation mark as long as something is waiting for you to sign in.
- If a listing expires within the next 24 hours, you get a notification once; a click opens the sign-in.
- The affected listings also appear under Ending soon, even with the extension switched on.
Extending yourself
Section titled “Extending yourself”Under My listings you extend a listing in its menu (⋯) with Extend, even without a licence. Several at once work as a bulk action.
